Hi I'm Robert Hart the owner of this website and apart from enjoying being a parent and my job, I'm most relaxed making something with a soldering iron in my hand. Yes, I'm apart of that other group of people who like nothing better than tinkering in the shed and avoiding discussions about sports and celebrities.

From a young age I enjoyed tinkering with electronics, science and other technology. In particular I enjoy pulling apart something and making it do things it was never intended.

Anyway, I thought as I had access to hosting, I'd just set-up a website to post stuff I was doing and hopeully get input and feedback on projects.  It also makes it just that easier to post in forums and other social media.

My professional background was in electronics manufacturing a few years back now and was involved in the industry for over 15 years, but these days it has become something I do for fun, so don't expect anything commercial to come out of these projects.  Please feel free to write and ask question or make suggestion always happy to hear from fellow tinkers and hackers.

Currently, I am the CEO of SA Group Enterprises an organisation that provides employment for people with disability, the Deaf and hearing impaired.
